Biografie (woord)
Edward B. Magrab is Emeritus Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. He has extensive experience in analytical and experimental analysis of vibrations and acoustics, serving as an engineering consultant to over twenty companies and authoring or co-authoring a number of books on vibrations, noise control, instrumentation, integrated product design, MATLAB, and Mathematica. He is a Life Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Quote
'This is a very well-written book with clear explanations and good examples for the readers to connect theory with practice. Integrating principles of linear and nonlinear vibrations throughout the book in a balanced manner is a great idea.' Kon-Well Wang, University of Michigan
