Most calligraphy books and kits assume the use of a standard pen and ink, and a standard way of forming letters. This book demonstrates that you don't need to be limited to the traditional means of lettering, and shows how to make interesting patterns with lettering by using a mixture of upper- and lower-case letters, by positioning the letters creatively, etc. The book is filled with exercises and sample alphabets to guide the budding calligrapher.
