The Flavour of Holland is an imaginative, lively view of a year in The Netherlands as seen by Itish writer Hilary Keatinge, with over a hundred recipes created and adapted by Dutch cookery expert Anneke Peters.
The 12 chapters cover 12 months of seasonal and topical background and cookery ideas. There are drawings and 16 full colour photographs of general interest.
The accent of the recipes is on practical, easy to prepare dishes using the best of ingredients. There are the traditional favourites, but these are given a lighter and more modern twist. The recipes are simply set out and alternatives are given for ingredients not easily found outside of The Netherlands.
